Holy Rosary Credit Union, Rochester, N.H., announced the promotion of Megan Dean to the position of senior teller of the Dover branch. Dean has been with the credit union since 2007 when she started as a part-time teller. She will now be responsible for directing the teller line while training and mentoring new and current tellers on procedure and policy.
NewOak Capital, New York, named Tom McAvity managing director to market the firm's advisory, asset management and capitol markets services to the insurance industry and create customized solutions for insurers, banks, pension, and endowment funds. McAvity has 40 years of professional experience with 20 of those working with the insurance industry.
Connex Credit Union, North Haven, Conn., announced the promotion of Gezim Stroka to assistant branch manager at the North Haven location. Stroka, who has been with the credit union since 2006, most recently served as a new account representative at the credit union's Guilford location.
SOUTH
Creditor Resources Inc., Atlanta, named Tom Kazar vice president of sales. Kazar will work with business partners to add new products while expanding market distribution. Kazar has over 23 years of experience in the financial services industry.
MIDWEST
NuUnion Credit Union, Lansing, Mich., made the following announcements: Bill Lantzy has been named branch manager of the Okemos branch. Lantzy has been with the credit union for eight years. Theresa Dubiel was named branch manager of the south Lansing branch. Dubiel has over 18 years of experience in the customer service and marketing fields. Jennifer Kurzynowski has been promoted to chief information officer. She is now responsible for the management and growth of technology at the credit union. She has been with NuUnion for almost 19 years.
Postal Credit Union, Woodbury, Minn., named Andrew Rihm as branch manager of the credit union's Eagan office. Rihm will organize all of the branches operations while taking an active role in the Eagan business community. Rihm has over 12 years experience in the financial services industry.

Elevations Credit Union, Boulder, Colo., has promoted Craig Burkhard to the position of executive vice president, chief operating officer. Burkhard has been with the credit union since 2007 and he most recently held the title of vice president of lending. He will now be responsible for all lending, branch operations, wealth management, marketing and business development for the credit union.
Fist Financial Credit Union, Albuquerque, N.M., announced that Marie Shrake has been appointed to the position of chief operations officer for the credit union. Shrake has been with the credit union since 2002. She most recently served as chief financial officer. Ron Moorehead has joined First Financial to fill the void left by Shrake as chief financial officer. Moorehead has over 28 years of experience in corporate finance.
Ent Federal Credit Union announced the addition of Bob Walla. Walla will serve the human resource department as the credit union's manager of employment and employee relations and welfare. Walla has over 30 years of experience in the human resources field. Stacey Harris has joined the credit union as a business banker for the west region. She has more than five years of business banking experience.
Alaska USA Federal Credit Union, Anchorage, Alaska, named Lisa Hall regional vice president, interior Alaska. Hall will be responsible for managing seven branches. Hall most recently served as the regional membership banking manager for a large national bank. She brings more than eight years of experience with her.
Sandia Area Federal Credit Union, Albuquerque, N.M., promoted Paula J. Peknik to the position of executive vice president, chief operating officer. Peknik has been with the credit union for 25 years.
Safe 1 Credit Union, Bakersfield, Calif., announced that Bob Friesen has been elected chairman of the board for the credit union.
Nevada Federal Credit Union, Las Vegas, announced the results of its membership election for the board of directors during the credit union's 59th annual meeting. Mike Lantz, Mark Ferrario and General Billy McCoy were reelected to three year term. Elected officers for the next 12 months are as follow: Colonel Pete Peterson as chair, Bill Flaxa as vice chair and Dennis Shipley as secretary/treasurer. The board also reappointed its supervisory committee to another one year term.
