With all of the attention on saving big banks and the autoindustry, one CUSO CEO is hopeful that the new Small BusinessAdministration leader will see the potential for small businessesto restore the nation's economy.

"The reality is, let's return to small businesses. If everysmall business hired just one person, just imagine what that woulddo," said Kent Moon, president/CEO of Member Business Lending LLC,a Salt Lake City CUSO. Moon has also served as district director ofthe SBA's Utah district office and at the agency's Washingtonheadquarters as a financial analyst and senior technicaladviser.

Moon said he is impressed with Karen Gordon Mills' backgroundand feels she is ideally suited to run the SBA especially becauseshe brings an economist's perspective.
