The Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee is scheduled to hold a confirmation hearing tomorrow for Karen Mills to be the next administrator of the Small Business Administration.

Mills is currently president of private equity firm MMP Group in Brunswick, Maine and in 1999 co-founded New York-based private equity firm Solera Capital. She has also served as an adviser to Maine Gov. John Baldacci on economic matters.

Darryl Hairston is currently serving as SBA's acting administrator.
