The Driving Home Lending Symposium held by Prime Alliance Solutions Inc. and CUDL has been rescheduled for 2010.

The symposium was previously scheduled for May 12-15, 2009 in Las Vegas but will now be held in May of 2010 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. The two organizations announced that postponement was due to the impact that current economy is having on travel and controllable expenses.

"Credit unions are leading by example through the credit crisis, continuing to lend where others have stopped. We believe it is vital that we remain focused wholly on supporting our credit unions' efforts and postpone the symposium this year," said Tony Boutelle, president/CEO of CUDL.

Prime Alliance and CUDL said they are looking at alternative ways to deliver educational sessions to credit unions in 2009 and are working on putting together a plan.

"While there won't be a traditional symposium in 2009, we will be hosting 'virtual symposia' throughout the late spring and summer," said Dan Green, executive vice president of market strategies for Prime Alliance.
