ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Edgar Callahan was such an important person in the history of the credit union movement that his service to it might continue in Heaven, NCUA Chairman Michael E. Fryzel suggested yesterday.

"They say that there is a special place in Heaven for credit union people. I don't know if that's true but if it's not by the time we get there he'll have made sure that there is," Fryzel said.
