The Small Business Administration will host a Web chat to help decipher what the newly-signed American Recovery and Reinvestment Act really means for small businesses.

SBA Associate Administrator for Capital Access Eric Zarnikow will lead the chat, which will take place at 1:00 pm. ET on March 19.

The agency said the act contains a package of loan fee reductions, higher guarantees, new SBA programs, secondary market incentives, and enhancements to current loan programs that will help unlock credit markets and begin economic recovery for the nation's small business sector. Additional information on the Recovery Act is available online at www.sba.gov/recovery/index.html.
