Freddie Mac named John Koskinen to be its interim CEO and Robert Glauber to be its non-executive chairman.

Koskinen has been the non-executive chairman since September. His previous experience includes having been deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget and deputy mayor of Washington, D.C.

He will succeed David Moffett, who has held the post since September, when Freddie Mac was placed into conservatorship.

Glauber, a top official of the Treasury Department during the administration of President George H.W. Bush, is a member of Freddie Mac's board.
