A longtime Canadian customer has committed to the newest version of Open Solutions Inc.'s core processing platform for credit unions, the company said.
Summerland & District CU in Summerland, British Columbia, will be converting to The Complete Credit Union Solution: DNA.
The $145 million institution is currently using the Visionwest platform from Datawest Solutions Inc., which was acquired by Connecticut-based Open Solutions in 2004.

"Our due diligence included a list of 359 items, each of which had different weightings for different areas based on their level of importance to us," said CEO Kelly Marshall. "The evaluation process helped eliminate some of the biases we may have had by enabling us to compare apples to apples."
