Holy Rosary Credit Union, Rochester, N.H., announced the promotion of Angela Huppe to information technology manager. In her new role, Huppe will oversee day-to-day operations of the credit union's IT department.
Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union, Lowell, Mass., announced that Shelia Fortin has been promoted to assistant vice president and corporate security officer. Fortin will now be responsible for information security, privacy management programs, branch security, business continuity management and corporate services management. Fortin's most recent position was security administrator. She has been with the credit union since 2004.
Capital Communications Federal Credit Union, Albany, N.Y., announced that Paula Stopera, president and CEO of the credit union, was named 2008 outstanding professional by the Credit Union Association of New York at their 88th annual convention. The awards is given to individuals who demonstrate their passion to credit unions by hard work, dedication and success.

GTE Federal Credit Union, Tampa, Fla., announced that Stephen Foster, vice president of real estate for the credit union, has been awarded his Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation by CoreNet Global, a professional association for corporate real estate and workplace executives. In order to achieve the designation, Foster had to complete a rigorous training within a five-year period.

IU Credit Union, Bloomington, Ind., announced the promotion of Chris Hawk to vice president of finance. Hawk served as controller at IU since 2006. Prior to coming to IU, Hawk was treasury officer and assistant controller at Monroe Bank. He has 16 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Consumers Credit Union, Waukegan, Ill., announced that Melissa Rostkowsi is the branch manager of the credit union's new branch location in Volo, Ill. Rostkowski previously worked as manager of business development and service center operations for Baxter Credit Union before coming to Consumers. Rostkowski joined Consumers in 2007 as the Mundelein branch manager. Bonny Johnson will replace Rostkowski as manager of the Mundelein branch. Previously, Johnson was the counter service manager at the Gurnee branch.

LBS Financial Credit Union, Long Beach, Calif., announced that Cindy Stromlund will be the new vice president and branch manager of the East Long Beach office. Stromlund was most recently branch manager at the Schools First Federal Credit Union in Cypress.
Desert Schools Federal Credit Union, Phoenix, promoted Chris Kearney to assistant vice president of information technology. Kearney will now be responsible for professional services and project management organizations within the credit union's information technology area. Employees from the East Valley Desert Schools Federal Credit Union in-store branches teamed up to assist the Epic Food Mission in Queen Creek move to a larger facility.
Texell Credit Union, Temple, Texas, announced the retirement of David Watson, branch support loan officer. Watson had been at the credit union for 33 years.
Nevada Federal Credit Union, Las Vegas, announced new hires and promotions. Krista Rains was hired as a financial service representative. Kelli Nissen and Gina Patton were hired as financial service representatives. Darrell Highsmith was hired as a collector. Bryan Horsewood was hired as an insurance agent. Dave Ellingson was hired as a computer operations manager. Reina Rocha, Shannon Salsby and Tereza Van Horn were promoted to financial service associates. Rebecca Brown was promoted to group benefits representative, and Wade Vijuk was promoted to senior financial services associate.
Burbank City Federal Credit Union, Burbank, Calif., announced that Darin Guggenheimer has been named president/CEO. Guggenheimer will succeed Thomas J. Moioffer who will retire after 24 years as president/CEO. Guggenheimer is a 13-year associate of the credit union and has served as chief financial officer since 1995.
Elevations Credit Union, Boulder, Colo., announced the appointment of Katie Larson to the credit unions board. For the past three years, Larson has been a treasury analyst for Chipolte Mexican Grill. Larson worked at Elevations as a financial services advisor when it was known as U of C Federal Credit Union. She also now serves on the board of directors for the Colorado Treasury Management Association. At 28 years old, Larson is the youngest person ever appointed or elected to serve on the board of directors at the credit union.
