YAKUTAT, Alaska — A Check 21 solution that automates check processing at the teller line is the newest offering from Wycom Systems.WyTeller21 scans incoming checks and then populates the core processing system's member service screens with check data, confirms check totals, creates an electronic cash letter at day's end and forwards images to check processors, including the Fed, the Alaska-based company said.Wycom (www.wycomsystems.com) already provides secure check-signing, printing, receipt and document generation and archiving solutions to more than 8,000 customers, including more than 1,000 credit unions, the company said.The new teller-based check processing system uses a small footprint scanner at the front end, high-speed multipass scanners in the back office and a software engine from C&A Associates, whose remote item processing solutions are used at hundreds of credit unions and banks nationwide, Wycom Systems said.–[email protected]
