BURLINGTON, Vt. — Bernard J. Isabelle, senior vice president/chief financial officer of the $1 billion Greylock Federal Credit Union of Pittsfield, Mass. has been named president/CEO of Vermont FCU.

Isabelle succeeds the CU's long-time veteran, Joseph M. Finnigan. She previously held senior management jobs at several northeast financial institutions including Sikorsky FCU and First Federal Savings & Loan of East Hartford.

A native Vermonter, Isabelle helds an MBA in finance from the University of Connecticut and graduated magna cum laude with a BS in accounting from the University of Vermont. He also graduated "with distinction" from the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking. While working for Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. in Hartford he received his CPA.
