Du Trac Community Credit Union, Dubuque, Iowa, announced the hiring of Jason Norton as senior vice president of marketing and business development. Prior to joining Du Trac, Norton served as the director of league relatio ns for the American Association of Credit Union Leagues and CUNA. Norton will be responsible for the development of strategic brand direction and communication across all channels.

T&C Federal Credit Union, Bloomfield Hills, Mich., announced that Daniel Bukowski was named ambassador of the quarter by the Troy Chamber of Commerce. Bukowski is the Troy branch manager for T&C. He was chosen based on his involvement with new-member deliveries, anniversary calls, event attendance, open house and ribbon cuttings, star leads, referrals and committee activities and participation.

Ent Federal Credit Union, Colorado Springs, Colo.announced new hires and promotions. Josh Callens joined the mortgage lending team as the Denver area mortgage loan officer. Callens has over eight years of experience in the mortgage industry and previously worked as a mortgage loan officer for GMAC Mortgage. David Vincellette was promoted to service area manager. Vincellette will oversee the Falcon, Galley, Murray, Peterson, Schriever, South, Westside and Woodland Park service centers. Vincellete has been with the credit union for almost 10 years and most recently served as the Bon service center manager. Matt Barela was hired as accounting manager. Barela has been in the accounting field for over 10 years and most recently managed the accounting department at Public Service Credit Union.

Meriwest Credit Union, San Jose, Calif., sadly announced the passing of Francois Vu-Touneh. Vu-Touneh was the vice president of sales and marketing for Meriwest's wholly owned subsidiary Meriwest Mortgage. Vu-Touneh passed away for a fighting a six month battle with cancer. Vu-Touneh played a principal role on behalf of Meritwest Mortgage in developing the community programs, the "opening doors loan program" with San Mateo's Housing Endowment and Regional Trust and the Housing Trust of Santa Clara County's mortgage assistance program.

Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Manhattan Beach, Calif., announced the hiring of Tim Hanson as director of corporate accounting. Hanson was previously chief financial officer at DB Home Lending LLC, a wholesale mortgage banker, and was controller at NAB Asset Corp., a financial services holding company.

The Golden 1 Credit Union, Sacramento, Calif., announced that Senior Operational and Internal Auditor Kevin Shaw was promoted to the rank of chief warrant officer four in the Army Reserves. Shaw has been part of the Army and Army Reserves for 22 years and has been responsible for logistics support for 12 Army Reserve units in California for the last 12 years. His new rank is the equivalent to that of lieutenant colonel.

Wauna Federal Credit Union, St. Helens, Ore., announced that Christie Partridge accepted her nomination and appointment to the South Columbia County Board of Directors. Partridge is the St. Helens branch manager for Wauna. Partridge will fill an open position until Dec. 2010.
