BROOKFIELD, Wis. – Fiserv Inc. plans to hold one users group meeting for all seven of its core processing units next year instead of seven individual conferences, the company said.
The session will be held Aug. 24-27 at the Gaylord Opryland resort in Nashville, Tenn., said Sara Brooks, chief strategy officer of the Fiserv credit union division.
"This is a great opportunity to bring together nearly a third of the credit union industry," Brooks said. "We going to be able to offer a lot of best practices and learning opportunities at a level we haven't been able to in the past, and bring a whole lot of technology solutions into one place."

There also will be sessions for clients of each of the individual units, Brooks said.
"More than any industry I've been a part of, I believe that credit unions who are processing on a given platform feel a sense of community with one another," she said.
Fiserv's credit union division serves the approximately 2,800 credit unions running on platforms from IntegraSys, Summit, USERS, CUSA, AFTECH, XP Systems and Galaxy.
