Los Angeles Federal Credit Union, Los Angeles, celebrated International Credit Union Week by giving a free commemorative gift to anyone who visited their branch. The credit union exemplified the It Belongs to Me theme and underlined that credit unions were found for service. Los Angeles Federal Credit Union celebrated Credit Union Week at all of its branches.

WESTconsin Credit Union, Menomonie, Wis., invited its members and the community to stop by any branch office during International Credit Union Day to enjoy dessert and refreshments. All branch offices provided hot apple cider and caramel apples. Members who stopped by were also eligible to enter to win door prizes. Also, during the celebration the credit union had an ID scanning station set up to scan member's drivers licenses into the system for easy verification of their identity. Free community document shred events were also held in celebration of credit union day at the Amery, Menomonie, River Falls and Spring Valley locations. The community was invited to bring up to two boxes of documents to be shredded.

MidSouth Federal Credit Union, Macon, Ga., celebrated International Credit Union Day and the It Belongs to Me theme by honoring its members. The first 100 members that visited each MidSouth office on Oct. 16 received a special gift. Members also enjoyed popcorn, candy and a chance to win a gift basket.
