Launching real-time payments Receive on the RTP® network, and the FedNow® Service may have been the first step, but Send is where strategy meets reality. For credit unions, the question is no longer simply whether to offer instant payments. It's how to turn Send into a capability members will actually use and trust—and one that delivers meaningful value for the institution.

On October 7, 2026, at 2 p.m. ET, join Credit Union Times, Marc Michalowski, CIO at NET Credit Union, and Mark Majeske, SVP of faster payments at Alacriti, for a discussion about what instant payments Send looks like in the real world. Marc will bring the credit union perspective, while Mark will draw on industry data and experience with financial institutions deploying Send capabilities. Together, they'll explore how credit unions can identify the right use cases, understand member demand, approach pricing and measure adoption.

Attendees will learn:

  • How to know when it's time to move from Receive to Send
  • Real-world stats on Send use cases that are gaining traction
  • What transaction activity reveals about adoption and member behavior
  • How to approach pricing, fees, and the business case for Send
  • How Send data can uncover new opportunities to serve members
