KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Around the world credit unions are gearing up to celebrate International Credit Union Day on Oct. 16.

UT Federal Credit Union is taking the opportunity to enhance its offerings to the Hispanic population as part of its ICU Day celebration. The credit union has recently unveiled a new Spanish translation of its Web site (utfcu.org). In addition, UTFCU has teamed up with Mercy Health Partners and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of East Tennessee to create a new Hispanic business directory, to help provide a unique resource for the Spanish speaking population.

According to UT FCU CEO Debbie Jones, the move is just one of many steps the credit union is taking to better serve the Hispanic population.
