MADISON, Wis.–The Credit Union Executives Society hopes to give credit unions more insight to Web 2.0.
The new executive briefing titled Social Media–Blogs & Beyond, provides an overview of social media tools such as blogs, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter and Flickr, and illustrates how credit unions can use them to build online communities with existing and potential members.
With many credit unions struggling with how to incorporate social media into their marketing, public relations, and member relations mix, the briefing looks at topics ranging from opportunities and threats in using social media and the tools that comprise Web 2.0 to how credit unions can participate in social media.
