WASHINGTON — NAFCU's 2008 Congressional Caucus is slated to be a who's who of lawmakers and regulators affecting credit unions.

The session kicks off Monday with an address by NBC Chief White House Correspondent David Gregory. Other speakers that day include NCUA Vice Chairman Rodney Hood; Rep. Judy Biggert (R-Ill.), a key backer of efforts to improve financial literacy and a member of the House Financial Services Committee; and Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.), also a member of the committee.

Monday's luncheon session will feature a debate between Douglas Holtz-Eakin, senior policy adviser to Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Gary Gensler, senior economic adviser to Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.).
