OKLAHOMA CITY — A developer and re-seller of biometricauthentication solutions has started a new company targeting thecredit union market.

Human Element Biometrics (www.hebiometrics.com) is an offshootof RG2 Solutions, a developer of biometrics solutions and re-sellerof DigitalPersona solutions that began with credit unions and hasexpanded to health care, corrections, retail and other industries,the company said.

“RG2's focus is credit unions and we want it to stay that way”said Roger Grant, Human Element Biometrics founder and RG2Solutions president. “That being the case Human Element Biometricswill now take those products and move forward as a separatecompany.”

Grant said three credit unions currently are running theOklahoma City company's BioTran fingerprint verification solutionfor point of transaction and safe deposit box verification. Othersare in the evaluation process for that product and forDigitalPersona Pro biometric security solutions for networks andapplications, Grant said.
