MADISON, Wis. — The Credit Union Executives Society has promoted Jessica Hrubes to vice president of marketing.
Hrubes started with CUES in 2001 as a marketing specialist and was soon promoted to marketing supervisor. In October 2004, she was promoted to marketing manager and, in October 2006, she was named to director of marketing, her most recent position.
Hrubes was an instrumental part of the team that developed the "Choose CUES" campaign, which in 2006 received the APEX Grand Award for its multi-faceted campaign.

Under Hrubes' leadership, CUES' marketing department has been honored with awards in the 2007 American Inhouse Design Awards and the 2007 and 2008 APEX Awards.
Hrubes holds a bachelor of science in family and consumer journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Yolo FCU: Let the Sun Shine In
WOODLAND, Calif. — Yolo Federal Credit Union is making it easier for its members to go green.
The credit union is offering a "Go Solar" loan for homeowners interested in installing photovoltaic solar systems. The fixed rate loan with financing up to $25,000 can be used to add new or upgrade existing solar systems to members' homes.
The move is just one of Yolo FCU's green banking options and is designed to make going solar more affordable particularly when members also take advantage of the state incentive programs.
