FAIRBORN, Ohio — Wright-Patt Credit Union is working on an upcoming launch of a home check scanning and deposit service for members.

The $1.4 billion CU will be using DeposZip service from EasCorp. About 20% of the credit union's 165,000 members are expected to be eligible to use the service, according to Cynthia Schroeder, vice president of information technology and support services.

Schroeder said the credit union will work with EasCorp staff on internal and beta testing with a few members and staff training and then will announce the offering with a direct mail campaign in October.

EasCorp first launched its remote capture service in late 2007 and currently has 14,513 registered DeposZip users The Burlington, Mass.-based corporate credit union said Wright-Patt is the 18th credit union to sign up for DeposZip and the fourth over $1 billion in assets.
