NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — With a recent donation of $2,500 fromMichigan Educational Credit Union, the industry has contributed$32,500 to NACUSO's BUY CUSO advertising campaign.

BUY CUSO was officially launched in April to create increaseawareness of CUSOs as the professional providers of effectivesolutions to credit unions through collaboration with CUSOs,according to NACUSO.

The Michigan Educational CU benefaction brings the totalcontributions to $32,500, since fall 2007. To date, funds weredonated by Mountain America CU, CU*Answers, Member Gateways LLC,Beyond Marketing LLC and TruHome Solutions LLC.

The most recent contribution was delivered by Bill Brunton,president/CEO of Michigan Educational CU.

“Thanks to the Michigan Educational Credit Union and BillBrunton's leadership, credit union executives will more quicklyrecognize the essential role CUSOs play in the industry,” said TomDavis, president/CEO of NACUSO. “Credit unions of all sizesoutsource selected operational functions to CUSO solutionproviders, keeping operating costs down while increasing serviceand expertise to benefit members.”

The BUY CUSO campaign has featured advertisements on severaltrade publication Web sites. The campaign will continue in printedtrade publications and online, NACUSO said.
