PHILADELPHIA — The $567 million Philadelphia Federal Credit Union has become the most recent CU in Pennsylvania to have joined the fledgling Select-A-Branch ATM Network.
SAB ATMs allow participating institutions to greet their cardholders with the same ATM screens, announcements and cross selling advertisements that they would see in their own proprietary machines. SAB also charges financial institutions per transaction for transactions which are surcharge free to the cardholders.
“Select-A-Branch provides PFCU with a valuable service that our members will appreciate,” commented James McAneney, PFCU President/CEO, “PFCU cardholders now have easy access to more locations across the region.”
“SAB's ability to drive PFCU's marketing efforts was a key factor in the credit union's decision to participate. “We're excited to leverage SAB's extensive marketing capabilities,” said Karen Eavis, PFCU Communications Specialist. “We now can deliver our brand, ads and messages affordably. And the ability to easily update those campaigns assures synchronization with other marketing initiatives.”
According to the CU's Web site, Philadelphia FCU already participates in CO-OP Financial Services' CO-OP Network and has about 15 of its own ATMs.
