LAKE JACKSON, Texas — Texas Dow Employees Credit Union is bringing Young & Free to Texas.
Developed by British Columbia based Currency Marketing and made popular by CommonWealth Credit Union, Alberta, Canada, Young & Free is a financial management package designed to engage 19 to 25-year-olds towards effectively managing their money.
The Generation Y geared campaign engages through a microsite (www.youngfreetexas.com), social media and other nontraditional mediums. In addition, young people will compete and vote for their TDECU Young & Free spokesperson, who'll be hired to keep the site fresh, entertaining and educational with blogs, vlogs, polls, YouTube videos and more.

The spokesperson contest is open to any Texan resident between the ages of 19 and 25. TDECU owns the exclusive rights to Young & Free in the state of Texas.
