Arizona CU Goes to PSCU
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The largest state chartered credit union in Arizona has taken 96,000 debit card accounts to PSCU Financial Services, a leading credit union payment processing CUSO. PSCU already processes Arizona State Credit Union's credit card program.
The five-year deal also includes driving the $1.2 billion CU's 41 ATMs, PSCU said. The credit union cited the greater convenience of having one source for both credit and debit card processing and increased fraud protection and risk management as reasons for moving the debit cards to PSCU.
"More credit unions are taking a close look at fraud management tools prior to signing credit and debit processing contracts," said David J. Serlo, president/CEO of PSCU Financial Services. "We believe our fraud management package is unmatched in the industry. We are seeing substantial growth in our processing volumes as a result of being able to offer superior risk management along with excellent service and affordable pricing."
