LOMBARD, Ill. — Gary Raddon, founder of Raddon Financial Group,died Tuesday at the age of 72.

Raddon formed the strategic research and counseling firm thatbears his name (www.raddon.com) in 1982. It was sold to OpenSolutions Inc. in 2006. The company's products and services includeconsumer research, market analysis and MCIF tools.

Raddon also was a well-known industry expert, speaker and authorand served on the faculties of several state banking schools.

“He was an inspiration, mentor and friend to us all. Gary'sintegrity, pursuit of knowledge and dedication to client serviceguide us still today,” said Bob Dye, RFG's general manager andchief operations officer.
