NEW YORK — The National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions has recently completed its 2008 board of directors elections.

Director positions with three-year terms were available in each of the federation's four regions and in the at-large director category. An additional one-year term position was available in Region 4 (West), filling a previous vacancy.

NRS Community Development FCU CEO Eunice J. Rogers was re-elected as a regional director for Region 2 (South) and will continue to serve as board chairman of the federation. She is joined on the executive committee by Vice Chairman Randy Chambers, chief financial officer of Self-Help CU; Treasurer Helen Godfrey Smith, CEO of Shreveport FCU, re-elected in the at-large director category; Corresponding Secretary Lynda Milton, CEO of Houston Teamsters, re-elected as region 3 (Mid-west) director; and new Recording Secretary Deyanira Del Rio, chairman of the Lower East Side Peoples' FCU, a sitting Region 1 (Northeast) director.
