LOS ALTOS, Calif. — Guardian Analytics said it will be deploying its FraudMAP online fraud prevention solution at $4.1 billion Digital Federal Credit Union (www.dcu.org) in Marlborough, Mass.

FraudMAP will be used to provide detailed fraud alerts to the $4.1 billion credit union's internal security team and help improve the ability to prevent multi-channel schemes against DCU's 350,000 members, the company and credit union said.

In addition to lessening false alerts, Guardian Analytics said, the FraudMAP solution uses predictive modeling techniques to help detect multi-channel fraud schemes in which the fraudster uses a compromised online account to gather information that enables a fraudulent transaction via a different channel, such as check fraud.
