JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) is now offering consumer remote deposit services, allowing users to scan and submit checks to their credit union or bank from home.
The new service complements the company's existing Commercial Capture Xpress solution for businesses.
A Texas bank is the first to use the new FIX Xpress Deposit solution, the company said, and several more are expected to be in production in the next 60 to 90 days.
Jacksonville-based FIS (www.fidelityinfoservics.com)provides processing and other services to more than 9,000 financial institutions in more than 80 countries, the company said.
