LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan Credit Union League announced Monday it is bolstering its lobbying staff with three additions.
The appointments were made by the league's executive vice president, Patrick La Pine, who heads up government affairs operations.
Named as the new legislative affairs director is Marcia Hagebarth, who comes to the league with nine years experience most recently as assistant director of government affairs for SEIU Healthcare. She succeeds Andrew Doerr and will head up legislative, grassroots advocacy and political action programs.

She previously was deputy legislative director to former House Speakers Rick Johnson and Craig DeRoche.
Also joining the lobbying team are David Mroz political affairs coordinator. Mroz formerly was Michigan political/field director for the Mitt Romney for President campaign and served as a West Michigan field director for the state's Republican Party.
The third addition is Jami Wolfe, government affairs specialist and a former administrative assistant at Aerostek Staffing.
