LATHAM, N.Y. — The New York State Credit Union League isreinventing itself.

Representing New York's credit unions for 91 years, the leaguewill now be known as the Credit Union Association of New York.

According to Association President/CEO William J. Mellin, byleading with the words 'credit union' the new name and completerevamp is designed to instantly communicate whom it serves andeliminate any prior confusion that it is a state agency.
