WASHINGTON — Credit Union Student Choice, a new student loanCUSO, has hired Melissa Hunt as its vice president of businessdevelopment.
|Hunt previously served as vice president of business developmentat Smart Financial Credit Union. Her major responsibilities thereincluded youth outreach through
|high school and college channels, select employee grouprelationship development, and community outreach. Hunt's priorexperience will help credit unions develop meaningful relationshipswith universities and families in their local communities throughCUSC, the CUSO said.
|A 19-year veteran in the financial services industry, Hunt'sexperience also includes 13 years at Suncoast Schools FCU.
|CUSC, which enables credit unions to offer their own privatestudent loan program, launched earlier this month with andcurrently serves eight credit unions.
