TOTOWA, N.J. –North Jersey Federal Credit Union employees recently stepped in to teach second graders at Maple Avenue Elementary School in Newark some smart money habits.
The class curriculum was made possible through Junior Achievement Inc., which provides economic education programs to help children become more financially literate.
To help support the JA-In-A-Day program, NJFCU sold $3 paper schoolhouses where members and employees were able dedicate a paper schoolhouse to a child, a teacher or a role model in their own life.
