PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — Service Credit Union here has added MobileBanc24 Service to its menu, allowing members access to banking transactions through Internet-enabled devices such as cell phones and PDAs.

The “anytime, anywhere” banking is done by keying in mobile.service.org and is provided by Mshift of San Jose, Calif. The service allows SCU members in foreign locations to do business with a high level of security, said its provider, Mshift, Inc. of San Jose, Calif. “We are thrilled to partner with Service CU on this technology,” said Awele Ndili, president/CEO of Mshift.

“With MobileBanc24, Service CU extends its services internationally to service members in foreign locations, enabling US transactions in US dollars and Euros for US military and DoD employees deployed around the globe.”

Service CU joins a growing list of leading CUs that provide mobile service, including Bellco, Patelco, Mountain America, Allegacy, Alliance, KeyPoint and many others.
