GLASTONBURY, Conn. — More than 1,600 people attended Open Solutions Inc.'s recent 2008 Annual Client Conference in Orlando, Fla., the company said.

The conference attracted financial services executives, industry professionals and more than 110 conference sponsors and exhibitors. Presentations on industry technology and business trends and Open Solutions initiatives and updates were among highlights.

The company also showcased its latest core processing releases, including The Complete Credit Union Solutions: DNA.

A senior executive forum was held the day before the four-day conference opened on April 5. There attendees heard from industry experts on financial market trends and from Open Solutions on its corporate direction and product strategy.

“Open Solutions' conferences have exceptionally depoliticized-environments,” said Juli Anne Callis, executive vice president and chief operating officer of $850 million KeyPoint Credit Union in Santa Clara, Calif.

“Regardless of whether an attendee is from a bank or a credit union, everyone comes together with software commonalities and a shared interest to discuss emerging trends,” Callis said.

The 2009 Annual Conference will be held in

April 24-29 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, the company said.
