MADISON, Wis. — A total of 51 individuals from 12 different states were awarded Certified Credit Union Executive designations, which brings the total to 2,581 individuals nationwide.
CCUE was instituted in 1975 and was designed for managers and individuals aspiring to credit union leadership. The program teaches advanced credit union management and operations techniques.
Additionally, 10 individuals earned the Certified Financial Services Professional designation. This program started in 1999, and aims to educate credit union professionals specializing in financial services.

The Certified Executive Program also awarded specialty certifications to 12 credit union professionals. The requirement for this certification is taking in-depth courses in a specialty area.
All new designations were awarded in April.
