WASHINGTON — Lobbyists for credit unions have strong muscles that they regularly flex successfully during legislative battles, according to a leading political newspaper.

CUNA President Dan Mica and NAFCU Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Dan Berger and Director of Legislative Affairs Brad Thaler were listed among "the best in the business for America's business sectors," by The Hill in its May 1 issue.

Jim Snyder, the newspaper's business and lobbying editor, said they did not take a formal survey to determine the 64 people who made the list, but relied on interviews with House and Senate staffers and other people who lobby on Capitol Hill.
