ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -The $2.2 billion GTE Federal Credit Union has started reaping the fruits of PSCU Financial Services' new policy meant to encourage credit unions to start processing the debit transactions which use a personal identification number with the CUSO.

PSCU announced that GTE, one of its long time member credit unions, had signed on to its PIN-debit processing to take advantage of the additional security, efficiency and cost savings of processing multiple product lines with the CUSO.

The credit union is the third largest in Florida with $2.2 billion in assets and 202,000 members. It has 58,000 credit accounts and 166,000 debit accounts, PSCU said.
