WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The YWCA of Winston-Salem has recently honored Truliant Federal Credit Union Community Services Director Marjorie Rorie with the 2008 Women of Vison award.
Rorie was singled out in recognition of her dedication to helping the community, from coordinating financial literacy, grant workshops and programs for underserved and multicultural markets for the credit union to writing grants in her spare time to help sustain nonprofit agencies.
"I am proud to be a part of Truliant; an organization passionate about serving the needs of their members and just as importantly, the needs of those in the community," said Rorie. "I feel it is important to give back to the community and have therefore always been attracted to positions where I can truly make a difference."
