BROOKFIELD, Wis. — Alaska USA Federal Credit Union plans to use a new Web-based cash management solution to optimize the supply chain among its 200 ATMs and 50 branches across Alaska and Washington state.
The Integrated Cash Operations Modules (iCom) from Fiserv Inc. will replace a manual system the $3.6 billion CU had been using and could reduce its cash flow and transportation costs by 20% to 40%, the company said.
The iCom solution will be used in an ASP mode to provide Alaska USA with centralized cash ordering and confirmation, pre-emptive cash shortage alerts to improve service and reduced transportation costs through the reduction of cash handling and by consolidating cash orders. It also includes an audit trail that helps with compliance.
