WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — After 12 years as Purdue EmployeesFederal Credit Union CEO William F. Connors will retire effectiveJuly 1, 2008.

Connors will provide consulting services to PEFCU throughDecember 31, 2008.

Since joining PEFCU, Connors has worked to bring the creditunion closer to its business partners. Special attention has beenpaid to the credit union's largest and original partner–PurdueUniversity–by providing exclusive ATMs in campus residence hallsand increased branching and other member touchpoints around theGreater Lafayette community. Connors also encouraged the activeinvolvement of PEFCU and its staffers in community affairs throughtime and financial contributions to Greater Lafayette United Wayand other deserving area nonprofits.

Stepping in as the credit union's fifth CEO will be Bob Falk, asix-year PEFCU employee who has been serving as president and chiefoperating officer.
