HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. — With the New Jersey National Guard slated to have its largest deployment since World War II later this year, including some 3,000 soldiers deployed to Iraq, the New Jersey Credit Union League is showing its support by teaming up with Adopt-A-Soldier Platoon.

The league's partnership with Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon is twofold–to care for deployed soldiers and their families.

The partnership will support the soldiers in Iraq with care cartons of personal care items, snacks and other goodies to make them feel valued while providing support to families at home who are having difficulties because the man or woman of the house is not around.
