NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — NACUSO has changed its long-time logo to send a strong message of its collaboration mission.
The new logo features four overlapping rings in the colors of red, blue, gold and green and the NACUSO name in black letters. Each ring represents the four pillars of NACUSO's Center for Collaboration and Innovation: collaboration, innovation, implementation and critical thinking.
"We wanted the logo to reflect what we stand for, which is the catalyst for collaboration and innovation for the growth of credit unions," said Tom Davis, president/CEO of NACUSO. "Notice in our mission statement, it doesn't even mention CUSOs. We are much broader than that in terms of what we're all about and what we're attempting to do."

NACUSO's core purpose, as stated on its Web site is "to be the catalyst for instituting collaboration, innovation and the reinvention of the credit union industry."
"The circles [in the new logo] are integrated because they need each other," Davis explained. "Tons of plans out there get bogged down at execution. We need to have implementation as part of the strategy."
The new NACUSO logo has been seen on e-mail alerts from the association on its upcoming annual conference in Las Vegas April 27-30 among other correspondence.
