ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota Credit Union Network has announced two more shared branch sites have become available to the members of participating shared branching credit unions.

TopLine Federal Credit Union and Members Cooperative Credit Union became service center outlets recently, the network said. Twenty-two service centers are now in Minnesota, 19 of which are in the Twin Cities area.

Credit unions in the shared branching network offer their members thousands of locations where they can conduct basic financial transactions. At a shared branch facility, members can perform many of the same transactions that they can at their own credit unions.

Currently, there are 3,214 service centers nationwide. For many members, a shared branching location is closer than their own credit union. Credit unions that are participants in shared branching provide members with greater access to accounts and services without the time and expense of building additional branches.

"We are pleased with the addition of TopLine Federal Credit Union and Members Cooperative Credit Union to our shared branching participants," said Pete Skaalen, executive vice president of the Minnesota Credit Union Network. "Two more service centers will be opened by early summer, and we expect several more credit unions will soon become participants."
