RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. — The California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues have named Keri Bailey their new director of state government affairs succeeding Ron Fong.

Bailey joined the leagues in 2005 as the state legislative and regulatory lobbyist after a 10-year career working in the California legislature. In her new position, she will oversee the state legislative and regulatory affairs for credit unions in California and Nevada. Fong, who left the leagues on March 28 after 12 years, is now president/CEO of the California Grocers Association.

"Keri has been a dedicated advocate for the leagues and their member credit unions," said Bill Cheney, California and Nevada leagues' president/CEO. "Her promotion will ensure the continuation of our goal to enhance and expand the state advocacy efforts in California and Nevada."
