CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — University of Illinois Employee's Credit Union has recently celebrated the opening of its new Five Points branch. According to UIECU Executive Vice President Greg S. Anderson, the new facility establishes high visibility in a rapidly developing area.

Ribbon cutting ceremony attendees included Illinois State Representative Naomi Jakobsson, Mayor of Urbana Laurel Prussing, representatives from the Urbana Business Association, council members and staff from the City of Urbana.

Taking its design inspiration from the University of Illinois and Champaign County area, the branch features artwork dominated by photographs of local community images used throughout the space with a wall mural focal point featured behind the teller line. In addition, the facility includes a tech center, kids center and a reverse drive-up that features video monitors at each station.
