LINO LAKES, Minn. — Sharetec Systems Inc. said six credit unions have recently decided to convert to its core processing system.

The credit unions and their current core processors, according to the NCUA Web site (www.ncua.gov), are $48 million Great Lakes First FCU of Escanaba, Mich. (Jack Henry & Associates); $34 million Tri-State FCU of Midland, Pa. (IntegraSys); $23 million Haynes Community CU of Kokomo, Ind. (Jack Henry & Associates); $15 million Members Financial FCU of Midland, Texas (Open Solutions Inc.); $12 million Deer River Cooperative CU of Deer River, Minn. (CUSA Technologies); and $9 million Dubuque Teachers CU of Dubuque, Iowa (Harland Financial Solutions).

"The system is extremely simple to use and offers us technology, like signature pads and integrated scanning solutions, at prices that that are much more reasonable than we saw from other vendors," said Wayne Johnson, CEO of Great Lakes First FCU.
