LINTHICUM, Md. — CU Business Capital LLC and State Employees Credit Union of Maryland recently conducted a small business training program.

The one-day class focused on deposit products, cash management services and business development and relationship building techniques. Fifty-six SECU staff members including branch managers, assistant managers, financial services consultants, contact center representatives, marketing, lending and other support staff participated in the training program.

"With the credit union offering business services to its members, a sales education training program helped to support their market and business development strategies," said Holly Ryan, vice president/relationship officer with CUBC, who conducted the session. "The staff showed enthusiasm to learn about consulting and are eager to reach out to the community and serve their business members."
