SAUGUS, Mass. — Saugus Federal Credit Union recently gave Oaklandvale Elementary School students some hands-on banking experience.

|

Saugus FCU Senior Member Service Representative Dan D'Onofrio helped students with their deposits as part of the credit union's youth savings program, which helps elementary school students lean the value of saving money and watching their savings grow. As part of his visit, fifth grade student tellers collected and recorded deposits that were made into each participating student's SFCU account.

The credit union has been a long-time partner with the Oaklandvale School, assisting them over the years in many school programs, including financial literacy, reader programs and field day. In addition to the Oaklandvale School, the Youth Savings Program is also available to students at the Lynnhurst School.
