NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas -- Cypress Software Systems hasnamed a new vice president of software development.

Brian Lee will be responsible for day-to-day operations of thecompany's software development efforts and will focus on strategicgoals. He brings more than 19 years of project management andsoftware development experience to the job, the company said.

Lee had been a senior developer and software architect atLockheed Martin's missiles and fire control division in GrandPrairie, Texas. He also had been a project manager for ABLConsulting of Euless, Texas, where his clientele included JP MorganChase, Wachovia, Union Pacific Resources and the Tennessee ValleyAuthority.

"His team-oriented, client-focused approach to softwaredevelopment will give us a significant advantage as we continue toenhance our automated loan decisioning software and refine ourapplication service provider capabilities," said Stephen Sargent,president and CEO at Cypress.
